Ninth grade students from Mrs. Kitch's computer lit class recently posted some informative posters on display throughout the middle and elementary school hallways. Students drew a letter, number, or # symbol from a hat and completed research in that area using various databases. While they created a poster for the halls, they learned valuable skills about presentations as they shared with their peers about the careers in class. Below are a couple examples of various careers that were explored.
Mrs. Kitch and I both agreed that working collaboratively to brainstorm through the planning process was extremely helpful and yielded a lot of positive results! Working collaboratively with each other allowed us to reflect more thoughtfully, cultivate new ideas, and experiment with instructional options that we'd wanted to try before.
